Biodiversity conservation is a true passion of ours.
Phoebe and Lawrence both have M.Sc. degrees in Conservation Biology and a wide range of experience working across the biodiversity and travel industries.
Phoebe honed her skills in assessing the impact of large scale developments on biodiversity across Africa and the Middle East. This work has taken her to gold mines in Liberia, road expansions in Kenya and national park developments in Saudi Arabia, to name just a few! As a mammal biologist by training she loves nothing more than getting out into the wilderness but she is also skilled in corporate nature strategy development. She has worked with some large international companies to help them understand their relationships with biodiversity (e.g. footprints, impacts, dependencies) and to develop roadmaps to support biodiversity in the future. Phoebe also truly loves travel, she believes in the power of travel to transform mindsets and to change the world.
Lawrence, in recent years, has focused on biodiversity monitoring and spatial analysis. With extensive experience in ecological research, data management, and fieldwork across Africa and Saudi Arabia, Lawrence specialises in developing data-driven conservation strategies to address complex environmental challenges. He has worked with leading conservation organizations, contributing to biodiversity monitoring, game censuses, and community-inclusive conservation initiatives. His technical expertise includes advanced statistical modelling in tools like R, QGIS, and Google Earth Engine, which he has used to analyse large datasets and support strategic decision-making for conservation management. Lawrence is deeply committed to sustainability and biodiversity protection, combining scientific research, practical conservation management, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders to support the health of ecosystems and empower communities.
